Days 9-430

Last Day 9-1

What is an End of Life Doula?

A non-medical holistic approach to provide comfort, companionship, and practical guidance for those facing a terminal illness or death. They complement the care from hospice, hospitals, and funeral homes. EOL Doula's come from many different backgrounds, this course is open to everyone.

As massage therapists, you can also incorporate your tools and abilities into your End Of life Doula practice.

Sometimes…..a lot of the time, the topic of death is avoided, but here we are ~

willing to walk Side by Side with compassion & courage offering our unique skill sets.

If this is something you are interested please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have more questions.

Our last day together, we will also have a guest speaker.

Amanda Todd, Ph.D. is a Veriditas-trained Labyrinth Facilitator, Interfaith Minister, Reiki Master/Teacher, and Death Doula with Sacred Way Ceremonies. She is known for creating intuitive, reverent, and healing rituals and ceremonies for life's transitions in life, love, and loss. She hosts monthly labyrinth walks, spiritual book clubs, pilgrimages to Scotland, and offers private sessions in helping people navigate their spiritual journey.

She will share information regarding ceremony & ritual.

I also highly encourage you to volunteer at your local hospice.

Our local contact is Sharon sbaugus2@3hc.org
