3-Day Workshop: -Saturday 9am-4:30pm -Sunday 9am-4:30pm -Monday 9am-1pm Side by Side End of Life Doula Certification 16 Hours of Continuing Education, including 2 CE Ethics (Greater Freedom With Healthy Boundaries + End of Life Care & Boundaries - Side By Side) No experience necessary - for family, caregivers, massage therapists, and anyone wanting to offer your abilities to your community. This is a non-medical approach, focused on having a compassionate relationship with the patient and their family and support system as they are transitioning from this physical world. What is an End of Life Doula? A non-medical holistic approach to provide comfort, companionship, and practical guidance for those facing a terminal illness or death. They complement the care from hospice, hospitals, and funeral homes. EOL Doulas come from many different backgrounds, this course is open to everyone. As massage therapists, you can also incorporate your tools and abilities into your End Of Life Doula practice. Sometimes…..a lot of the time, the topic of death is avoided, but here we are ~ willing to walk Side by Side with compassion & courage offering our unique skill sets. We will also explore how we experience greater freedom through understanding and implementing healthy boundaries, both personally and professionally.
