ALL THE M's April 2025 (Moments, Mindfulness, Muses, Mental Health, Music, Madness ...)

I have the best massage/bodywork clients and they have been so understanding as I scale back my massage practice to expand with community outreach, end of life care services, along with facilitating further education courses approved by the NCBTMB for other massage professionals.

April

Something New

I received an invitation to visit a new facility in New Bern, Carolina Senior Care, which is set to open in just a few weeks.

Samantha Proppe, the Marketing and Enrollment Coordinator, and I first met a few years back when I was volunteering at our local hospice house.

She will also be attending our monthly Coffee, Tea, & Conversations meeting in August. We invite you to join us and discover more about the PACE program.

Wins:

  • I had a wonderful opportunity to lead three of my courses for massage therapists at the AMTA Texas State Conference in Corpus Christi.

  • Former participants of the Side by Side End of Life Care & EOL Doula Course are initiating their own Coffee Chats on Conscious Dying within their communities. I love how our circle is growing!

What am I reading/listening to:

Lady Tan's Circle of Women by Lisa See

Madness:

Watching the fear around me

Moments offered to myself:

  • daily morning meditation - check out the Self Care Foundations page

  • sometimes self care is simply nails & hair

  • catching the sunshine rays and more time to walk

What am I excited about:

  • the tent is finally attached to the roof of my car, now time to plan adventures

  • Offering one of my favorite classes early May (Self Care Meditation, Breathwork, & Restorative Hands On Yoga. This 2 day workshop is 16 CE for massage therapists & open to everyone.

It has been fully booked for months, and the next session will be in September. I maintain a small group size to provide a more supportive atmosphere.

  • (Just a few weeks away) Christmas in May with Mom, siblings and their families.

It’s been years since we all have been in the same place.

That’s all my mom asked for this year for her 80th 🤫

In Service With Love,

Holly
